Careful with the HF oil filters or any filter that has that nut on the end. Most race orgs and trackday will not allow them as they break off and leak oil everywhere. For 15 years of racing, I've just run a hose clamp with safety wire over the oil filter and run the safety wire to a bolt to make sure it doesn't move. Some bikes like the ZX10R you can rest the hose clamp against a tab that is on the engine and the oil filter cannot turn until it's removed.

can someone telle me wich one to get. I´m always looking at the old and the new one, but I really cant decide I really dig the modern looks of the new but i often hear the old one feels more emotional.

Sir , we have brand new pavement and its AWESOME! Id love to ride with you sometime, not fast, just an old man having fun! Personally the skyway is my favorite ! Not as many turns but it will make you realize those long sweeping turns and the less traffic will make you smile and grin! Probably your best bet work-wise is between Knoxville and Chattanooga if you want to work and live in TN… But, I implore you to wait another two years-the economy is not healthy and they have been propping it up in a big way. I bought my house at the bottom of the last recession-it could be a huge improvement in your future if you wait-everything in life is cyclical and that include housing prices. Sorry about having to sell the XR, I don’t know that I would for how little it would bring.

I’m going through this dilemma. Moved away from my hometown for more opportunities but the cost of living is making it non-viable to keep going. Given myself another 12 months to see where it goes.

Man I am in the same predicament. I live in Florida but I really want to move near the mountains to be near good riding roads. Houses have gotten really expensive around the Smoky Mountains which is unfortunate. We’ll make it happen at some point though!
